The Holy land Trip

Egypt, Israel, Palestine & Jordan

19^th Nov, 2012

Day 1: Arrival to Cairo O.N

Welcome arrival at Cairo Airport Meet and assist by our representative then on proceed to check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Pyramids & Sphinx – Old Coptic Cairo – Hanging church – Cairo O.N

Breakfast in the hotel, and then on proceed to visit the Pyramids & the Great Sphinx then visit the Old Coptic Cairo & the Hanging church. Visit Khan El Khalili. Then back to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 3: Cairo - St. Catherine & O.N

Breakfast in the hotel & check out then on proceed to St. Catherine the best known monasteries in the world - a Greek Orthodox holy place connected with the Prophet Moses and the exodus of the Jews from Egypt. Check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Mt. Sinai – Taba Border – Bethlehem O.N

Early in the morning proceeds to Mt. Sinai the traditional site where Moses received the Ten Commandments, climb up the mountain, back to the hotel for breakfast & check out. Then visit the Monastery. Proceed to Taba Border to cross to Israel; you will be welcomed by your guide and driver. Drive to Bethlehem to check in at your hotel for dinner and over night.

Day 5: Bethlehem - Mt. of Olives – Mt. Zion – Bethlehem O.N

Breakfast in the hotel & check out, then on proceed to visit the Nativity Church the birth place of Jesus Christ, and Milk Grotto the Shepherd's field in Bethlehem. Then on proceed to Jerusalem, visit Mt. of Olives, visit the church of the Ascension, Pater Noster Church, the Dominos Flevit Church, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem shortly before the destruction of the second temple, then on continue to visit the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus has been captured by the Romans after he has been betrayed by Judas, onto Mt. Zion, visit the St. Peter in Galicuntu, King David’s Tomb and the Upper room, visit Dormition Abbey. Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Old City of Jerusalem – Bethany - Jericho – Dead Sea –  Bethlehem O.N

Breakfast in the hotel then on proceed to enter the Old City of Jerusalem from Dung Gate, visit the Walling Wall,  the Area of the Mosque built on Mt. Moriah (Temple Mount), then walk the traditional Way of the Cross the 14 Stations of the Cross, and visit the Holy Sepulcher Church and the Empty Tomb of Jesus Christ. Proceed to Bethany, visit house of Mary & Martha, and the Tomb of Lazarus. Onto Jericho, the oldest town in the Holy Land, visit the Sycamore Tree (Zacharious the tax collector climbed the tree to view Jesus), and view Mt. of Temptation, where Jesus was tempted by the devil. Then visit Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth, 400 Meters below sea level, swim in the salty water, back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Tel Aviv '' Jaffa'' - Haifa – Nazareth – Cana – Tabor

Breakfast in the hotel & check out then proceed to Tel Aviv Jaffa the commercial capitol of Israel then on to Jaffa, visit Peter's Church, the House of Simon the Tanner, the Old City of Jaffa, and the old port, then proceed to Haifa City, visit Stella Maris and Elijah's Caves. Onto Nazareth where Jesus spent his boyhood and lived with Joseph and Mary (Luke 1:26-38) visit the Annunciation Church, ''the announcement of the Angel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary of the approaching virgin birth'' (Luke 1:26-38) visit the St. Joseph the Carpenter and Mary's Well, visit Cana where Jesus did his first Miracle ''the transformation of water into wine'' (John 2:1-11, 4:46-54). visit Mt. Tabor to visit the Basilica of the Transfiguration. Check in at your Hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 8: Capernaum - Tabgha- St Peter Primacy- Mt. of Beatitudes- Baptismal Site

Breakfast in the hotel and then on proceed to Capernaum where Jesus used to live and Heal the sick preaching in the synagogue and performing miracles (Matthew 9:1, 4:13).and then head to Tabgha, visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, Church of St. Peter's Primacy. Then on to Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-8).end the day with a visit to the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized in the river by John the Baptist (Mark 1:9-11). Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 9: Sheikh Hussein Bridge – Madaba – Mt. Nebo - Amman – Queen Alia Airport

Breakfast in the hotel & check out then proceed to Sheikh Hussein Bridge to cross to Jordan, Meet & Assist by your Jordanian guide and driver – Visit Madaba & Nebo – on proceed for panoramic Amman city tour before the transfer to Queen Alia Airport for final departure.
